Calle Ocho on foot with someone who grew up on it. Cafecito at a window counter, a croqueta from the place that has made them since 1971, the fruit stand with the guarapo press, the domino park, the cigar factory floor and a mojito to finish.
Seven stops, all of them small, all of them family run, and enough food that dinner is optional. The walk is flat and slow, and the guide has the stories.
